If you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, message and, if you provide it, who referred you. We use these details to reply to your enquiry and do not use them for unrelated marketing. If you join the waitlist, we collect your name and email address and, if you choose to provide it, the name of the person who invited you. We get these details from you. We use them to manage the waitlist and contact you about HEAT invitations, not to assign a numbered membership. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: responding to people who ask to join and managing invitations. We do not use the waitlist to send unrelated marketing or sell your details. You can ask us to stop contacting you or delete your entry at any time.
Cloudflare hosts this website, stores waitlist and contact enquiries and provides spam protection. Its services may process information outside the UK. Cloudflare's data processing terms provide safeguards for applicable international transfers, including adequacy arrangements or contractual transfer protections. The database was created with a Western Europe location hint, which does not guarantee that all processing remains there. We do not share your waitlist entry with other businesses for their marketing.
We keep your waitlist entry or contact enquiry until the earlier of your deletion request or 12 months after you submit it. If HEAT opens before then, we will review these records and delete entries no longer needed. Limited technical logs used for site security may be retained under Cloudflare's own settings.
You can ask to see or correct your data, ask for it to be erased or restricted, object to our use of it, and exercise other rights that apply in your circumstances. Email ellasaskia@icloud.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint if you are unhappy with how we handle your information. We may update this notice and will date any changes.
